Hello there, I'm Charles
My name is Charles Harwood and I'm a software engineer from the Gold Coast, Australia. I've been working in the tech industry since 2011, and I've been writing code since 2008.
I'm currently a Staff Engineer at Entain Australia & New Zealand, working under the Head of Engineering across all product delivery and engineering teams. My focus is on providing leadership, guidance, and mentoring to over 100 engineers, improving the performance and stability of our apps and the quality of our codebases, and helping our teams deliver great experiences to Entain customers.
After many years of building websites and online stores primarily with PHP, my technical focus shifted in 2021 to building native mobile applications with React Native with TypeScript.
